Come With Me to Miami, Florida!
I’m back at it again with another travel-related blog post. Miami is one of my favorite cities in the States to travel to, and I try to visit at least two to three times a year. Not only is it a quick flight time from where I live, but there’s something about the vibe of Miami that I’m obsessed with and I can definitely see myself relocating to Florida in the near future. I decided to broadcast half of my two-week-long trip to show you all some of the things that I did.

I Stayed at the Mandarin Oriental.
I intentionally stay in nicer hotels when I travel, solely due to the aesthetic (lol) and also because of the experience. While I usually stay in Miami Beach, trying Brickell was a great decision. Brickell is very subdued in comparison to Miami Beach. It was very much so the ‘corporate’ side of Miami which I enjoyed. The hotel in general was beautiful and my room included a balcony view of the city which was a win-win to wake up to every morning.
I Treated Myself to a Facial.
One of my New Year resolutions for 2024 is to be intentional in regards to investing in more beauty treatments that go beyond what I usually get done. I've maintained a consistent routine of getting facials every other month, and I wanted to uphold this habit by scheduling a facial at the Mandarin Oriental. I’m super picky about the type of facials I get due to my sensitive skin. Therefore, the Proskin Brightening Facial seemed to be the best option that wouldn’t be too harsh on my skin.
This facial was by far the most relaxing facial that I’ve experienced thus far. It made such a good impression on me that I booked to get another facial done at a nearby Mandarine Oriental Spa. The technician did a couple of extractions, a brightening mask, a neck massage as well as a super relaxing scalp massage. As mentioned, hands down the most positive spa experience and I’m looking forward to getting another facial done next month.
I Went to Dinner At Carpaccio.
I made it a goal to finally take pictures of my outfit this time around! I’ve been doing a lot of experimenting as it relates to my hair color, and for this Miami trip, I decided to add a bit of blonde which I’m super happy about!

I dined at Carpaccio, an Italian restaurant located in Bal Harbour. I'd been looking forward to try it for some time, and I thoroughly enjoyed the ambiance. While the food was decent, I found myself getting full after just a few bites of the pasta and even dessert. I ate a lot of food during my time in Miami and got to the point where my appetite was getting smaller and smaller. But overall, it was a satisfying experience.
I Went to the Design District.
I visited the Miami District. While I love it for shopping, I've never been a fan of its layout. Navigating the stores can be super confusing, but the variety and selection in each store make up for it.
I visited the Hermes store without anything specific in mind. Honestly, I didn't need anything since I'd already checked off most items on my materialistic wishlist for the year so I was essentially just scrambling to buy myself something. The Hermes H Clic bracelet was an impulse buy—something I'd wanted for years but didn't actually need. Nonetheless, I decided to purchase it on this trip. I thought it would be a cute addition to my bracelet stack, as I prefer to keep my jewelry, especially bracelets, quite simple
I Ate at Trulucks.
I was able to get once again another photo of my outfit, and this outfit has to be one of my favorite fits that I wore in Miami. I’m a huge fan of strapless dresses, especially ones that have the right amount of tightness. I would highly recommend the brand Superdown for my petite girlies, their dresses give the illusion of making you look thicker than you actually are (lol).

I've never been to Truluck’s before, but I will definitely be returning. The food and service were a 10/10. I especially loved the lobster bisque. I highly recommend it if you're looking to dine at a high-end restaurant that actually delivers great food.
In Conclusion…
I did a lot more during my stay in Miami, but to keep this post concise, I hope you all enjoyed a brief overview of my first week! I look forward to sharing more travel-related content in the coming months throughout the summer and since I got a new camera, I’ll definitely be making it a goal to snap some pictures of my outfits.
